MITCHELL | Madness

Scott is a wonderful husband and father, his illnesses do not hinder his love for his family or friends. After 27 years of marriage, 3 kids and a herd of animals, we are about to become empty-nesters. (Well, except for the animals.) We are trying to figure out where our lives are going to go from here. The problem lies with his health. Scott has a host of medical conditions, many of which are serious. His doctors have suggested and are suggesting treatment plans that would require him to be out of state for several weeks.

Karen, (I'm going to skip the wonderful wife and mother part since I'm the one writing this) decided several years ago, to leave work and focus on taking care of Scott full time. While he doesn't need 100% care, the stress of leaving him home either alone or with young children was too much stress. I had started writing for myself a few years before that, so I figured I could write in my spare time. To date, I haven't published anything but I enjoy writing when I can, and I vow one day to publish something.
